Traveling from city to city throughout Italy, Vicky Bennison has set herself a mission, to preserve one of Italy's most precious heritages: the traditional pasta recipes of Italian grandmothers.
Vicky Bennison's Project
Vicky Bennison is the woman who has spent years traveling the world and writing about her wildest culinary adventures before launching a project like no other... Pasta Grannies. Behind this project is the desire to preserve the ancestral culinary knowledge of these grandmothers and to delight the most gourmet with delicious recipes.
She travels through the towns and villages of Italy, meeting the nonnas and asking them to prepare a typical recipe from their village, town, or region using pasta, and to share their ways of doing it. The whole process is filmed and freely shared on the YouTube channel Pasta Grannies.

Nonna's Pasta Recipes
Italian grandmothers, also known as "nonna," from all over Italy, share their culinary secrets for making ravioli, lasagna, fettuccini, gnocchi, and countless other pasta varieties.
To make their delicious recipes, you won't need much: water, a little flour, and eggs. You should be able to handle it, right!? Then it's up to you to prepare something to accompany these pasta dishes. We trust you'll find something to go with their recipes.
Now we present you with the amazing recipe for "ragù della domenica," a dish of gnocchi with meatballs prepared by Giggina, a sweet little granny who lives on the island of Ischia, just off the coast of Naples. Can't get any better than that.
Enjoy!
