Ingredients
- A bunch of basil
- A large cluster of cherry tomatoes
- 2 white onions
- Parmesan cheese
- Olive oil
- Salt and pepper
Preparation
Slice the onions, tomatoes, and basil. In a large skillet, drizzle some olive oil, salt, and pepper, and add the onions. Once they are translucent, add the tomatoes. Let it simmer and add the basil. Taste the sauce, and if you find it too acidic, add a piece of sugar. Let the tomatoes caramelize. Meanwhile, bring water to a boil in a large pot with a handful of coarse salt, and add the pasta. Remove the pasta 2 minutes before the recommended cooking time on the package. Drain it and put it back in the pot with some butter. Add the caramelized tomatoes and mix well. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese and fresh basil before serving. Enjoy your meal!
