Here is definitely a recipe that you wouldn't have imagined making during confinement... Believe me, it is incredibly delicious, quick (only 10 minutes), and super easy to make.
Ingredients for 2:
- 4 small potatoes
- A can of sardines in olive oil
- 1 onion
- 1 garlic clove
- Chopped parsley (and/or any herbs you like)
- Lemon
- Salt, pepper
- Milk (cow's milk, oat milk, almond milk, it doesn't matter)
- Bonus: chili pepper
Method:
- Peel the potatoes and boil them in a saucepan
- Meanwhile, peel the garlic and onion and sauté them in butter in a frying pan
- Once the potatoes are cooked, mash them, adding a little olive oil from the sardine can and 3-4 tablespoons of milk until the mashed potatoes are creamy (but not too much, we like to feel the small potato pieces).- When the garlic and onion are well colored (even roasted), add the sardines over low heat and the herbs. Crush everything together to make a beautiful mixture. Add chili to your liking if you like spicy dishes.
- Mix the sardine preparation with the potatoes, season with salt and pepper, serve and enjoy.
P.S.: It's even better accompanied by a mâche salad.
