This weekend, Victoria Beckham celebrated her 50th birthday, and one thing's for sure, the party looked amazing. There were plenty of stars, a blazing dance floor, delicious food and drinks, and most importantly, the reunion of the century: the Spice Girls. But as the most beloved girl band in the world celebrates its 30th anniversary this year, sparking rumors of a reunion from all sides, it seems that for now, this short video is all the fans will get.

Excited Fans

Look no further, we have found the most efficient Instagram Boyfriend of all time, in the form of David Beckham. It was the former football star himself who immortalized the reunion of Mel B., Mel C., Emma Bunton, Geri Halliwell and his wife this weekend by posting a short video of the evening on his social media. The video was quickly shared by Mel B. with the hashtag #TourDatesComing. In the clip, the 5 stars flawlessly recreate the choreography of their famous hit "“Stop”. The clear conclusion is that they haven't lost their touch at all.

The images immediately triggered a wave, no, a tsunami of Reviews from fans overflowing with joy and love. For example, under the post you can read "I am crying tears of joy! OMG! I love the Spice Girls so much!" or "This is my Roman Empire" (related to a trend showing that men, especially Americans, think about the Roman Empire several times a week. Yes, yes.), or even "Thank you @davidbeckham for doing the Lord's work!". You get the idea.

And others disappointed...

In a similar vein, we can also see many comments asking for an official reunion, hoping to see the Spice Girls on a real stage once again. However, despite the rumors and announcements that emerged when a video was released for the group's 30th anniversary, fueled by Mel B's regular teases, it seems a new project is not in the near future. Vicky actually stated on France Inter in March that no public reunion is planned at the moment.

So, on our end, we simply continue to wait for them to celebrate their anniversaries one by one in order to have a chance.Small moments of happiness like this. A feeling that had already crossed our minds two years ago, when David Beckham, aka our serving knight, had already posted a video of the girls reunited for Geri Halliwell's 50th birthday, alias Ginger Spice, and her iconic flag dress. Mel B., we're counting on you for next year...
