We've been waiting for it for a while, the famous annual press conference unveiling all the secrets of the new season of Top Chef took place this Thursday, January 29 in the morning. And one thing's for sure, if we thought we had seen it all in this show, not at all! Apparently, the producers have doubled down on creativity to bring us some exclusives. And we’d like to warn you, this might surprise the biggest fans of the show aired on M6.

Bye-Bye Brigades

This is probably the biggest change of this season. Two years ago, we were a bit shaken to learn there would be only 2 teams, in a format of chefs versus chefesses. At the end of each challenge, the contestants will need to present their dishes to the jury (chefs and guests), then join in the tasting, during a kind of big oral presentation. It’s a way to keep building connections despite the absence of teams. And watch out, even though the chefs won’t have their own protégé anymore, a parallel competition will still take place in the second part of the evening to rescue a contestant. The only missing piece of information from the conference, however, is the broadcast date…
