This is a new twist in the dark P. Diddy affair. While several big names in the American music industry are implicated, like Kanye West, Ashton Kutcher, and even the Princes Harry and William, who have been spotted numerous times at the rapper's parties, this time it's rapper and producer Jay-Z who finds himself in the spotlight. Following a complaint filed on December 8, he is accused of having raped a 13-year-old minor at the time of the incident in 2000.
Dozens of individuals implicated
According to the complaint, the events allegedly took place in 2000, during a party held after the MTV Video Music Awards. During the evening, the two men, Sean "Diddy" Combs and Jay-Z – whose real name is Shawn Carter – are said to have assaulted and raped the young woman, in front of at least one other celebrity.
inactive witness to the scene. “Another celebrity was there watching Combs and Carter take turns attacking the minor. Many other people were present that night, but didn’t do anything to stop the assault ” reads the statement.BREAKING: Jay-Z accused of raping a 13-year-old girl in 2000 along with Diddy at a MTV VMA's afterparty, per NBC News.

It's not the first time since the start of this situation that Jay-Z's name, as well as that of his wife Beyoncé, has been mentioned. An investigation is expected to be deepened in the coming months, to bring the two men before a court. This complaint adds to the long, very long list of accusations directed against P. Diddy, who is already being held for sex trafficking and extortion. Alongside this, he is also facing civil suits for violence and sexual assault.
Facts denied by Jay-Z
In response to the accusations that came out yesterday, the rapper quickly published a statement in which he denies the allegations, speaking of ...attempt of blackmail and a request for formal notice from the lawyer handling this case, Tony Buzbee. In this same open letter, he calls for a serious investigation to be carried out, for the well-being of the victims, absolving himself of any responsibility. He even accuses the lawyer of not doing things properly (a hint of irony here), by filing a complaint in civil court instead of criminal court.
You know, it’s crazy to me. My Dad had been talking about how bad P Diddy and Jay Z were for literally as long as I can remember. It’s only as soon as they actually get in legal trouble that people see what’s really going on smh… And all this is only the tip of the iceberg! https://t.co/wzDlyv5MuI

« These allegations are so appalling that I urge you to file a criminal complaint, not a civil one! Anyone who commits such a crime against a minor should be locked up, don’t you agree? These presumed victims deserve true justice if that’s the case », reads the letter. It's quite a funny way to deflect blame, and we hope that all the guilty will be punished appropriately.
