There’s no denying that Disneyland keeps on amazing us! After announcing the closure of its Disney Studios (but don’t worry, it’s just to reinvent itself, phew!) and the creation of a new attraction fully dedicated to the greatest Disney movie of all time – that’s right, The Lion King – this legendary amusement park has added another string to its bow. Starting in 2026, a new land will open its doors to the public in the Disney Adventure World park, which is the new version of the Studios. It’s a zone that promises to be magnificent, as it will be dedicated to the third film from the studios that has achieved the biggest success at the global box office.

The Kingdom of Arendelle Takes the Spotlight

She has been released, she has...cute; Delivered, the Snow Queen can now come to enchant our day at Disneyland. Indeed, the World of Frozen is gearing up to join the amusement park, bringing joy to both the little ones and, let’s be honest, the grown-ups too. What's on the agenda for this new themed area? An immersion into the heart of the Arendelle kingdom alongside Anna and Elsa, featuring a dining and shopping experience, the chance to meet the two sisters “during a memorable royal audience”, and most importantly, a new attraction. And more than a year after the announcement of this new land of magic, it seems that the project is making great progress, as the first images of the ride have finally been revealed.

A Very Special Baptism

This attraction, which will transport us straight into the world of films, is not a huge novelty for the engineers at Disney. In fact, it already exists in various parks around the world, and we are absolutely thrilled that it’s finally coming to us. Titled Frozen Ever After, it will take us on a journey through stunning settings straight out of the animated film, complete with animations and, of course, the most iconic songs from both parts.

In mid-June, a very special event took place: the filling of the attraction with water. To honor a tradition that's been around since the opening of the first version of It’s a Small World (and we hope you all have that catchy tune stuck in your heads right now!), water from the various parks where you can find the Frozen attraction, as well as from Norway, where the films are set, was poured into the ride's canals. This event was broadcast on social media, giving us a (brief) glimpse of what awaits us. And it definitely makes you excited!
