Mean Girls, it's a crazy story that seems to never want to stop. After going from the big screen to the stage, the film being adapted on Broadway, it's now a return to the 7th art that has been announced. But be careful, plot twist, facing the incredible success of the first two versions, we can expect a little mix for the third.
On with the music
Oh yes! No way we're doing a copy-paste of the 2004 version, Regina George and her minions are back in songs. According to the trailer though, besides these musical interludes and an (almost) entirely new cast, we won't be disappointed. He is surprised by this version 2.0.
Which is not displeasing to us, because it must be admitted that certain iconic scenes from the original version are unlikely to be forgotten. We think of the REAL Halloween costume worn by Cary at a party where fabric is apparently an option, the legendary Christmas dance performance, or the iconic scene where Aaron asks Cary for the date. Not to mention the characters we love: Karen Smith, Mrs. George, or Damian Hubbard, among others, and their always incredible energy. We can't wait for a little nostalgia session.

It seems however that the movie adapts a little bit to its time, by integrating for example social networks, and by calling on certain influencers who are quite well-known. And that intrigues us twice as much, since we can very well imagine Regina scolding the Plastics because they dance like "losers" in a TikTok dance. See you at the cinema on January 10th to (re)discover all of this. And be careful, it's a Wednesday, and "on Wednesdays, we wear pink"! We're counting on you...
