Is it already Christmas Day? Not quite, but here’s a delightful surprise for you: Beyoncé has announced that she will be performing her first concert since the release of her album Cowboy Carter on December 25th, a huge hit in the United States. The singer is expected to perform several of the hits from the album, including 16 Carriages, Ameriican Requiem, and Jolene. Unfortunately, you won't be able to attend unless you're from Houston (Texas), the queen's hometown, but don’t worry: her performance, which will mark the halftime of an NFL game between the Houston Texans and the Baltimore Ravens, will be broadcast live on Netflix, the event's broadcaster.

A Grand Comeback for Beyoncé
It’s on her Instagram account this Monday, November 18, that Beyoncé shared the news with her 314 million followers, without any description… but with a short 28-second film. In it, we see her catching an American football mid-air, perched on a car covered in rose petals. "Can you hear me? Can we stand?" asks the singer in the background, followed by the caption "Christmas Day, Houston, TX".
Beyoncé is inviting us to Christmas, then. And of course, we will be there, because what she doesn’t know is that we would invite her to the guest table if we could. We’ll have to make do with watching her show from afar, on a small screen, and not even during the Super Bowl, scheduled for February 9, 2025, with Kendrick Lamar as the halftime star... But we’re excited! She knows that she has already filled the role in 2013 and then again in 2016. It's time to make space for the colleagues.

"Special guests" lined up
"Although the details of her performance are not yet known, Beyoncé is expected to feature some special guests from the Cowboy Carter album,” Netflix shared in a statement. Miley Cyrus, the country stars DoDolly Parton and Willie Nelson, as well as Post Malone, participated in the album. The giant with the red N will also broadcast the other NFL matchup scheduled for Christmas Day, December 25: the game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Pittsburgh Steelers. This will be the first time the platform broadcasts American football.
