The Editor

You have recycled your favorite playlists and albums from 2023 once, twice, four times, and you just can't take it anymore. The year has been rich, of course, with the pop phenomenon Taylor Swift, the emotional album name way too long by Lana del Rey, the return of Iggy Pop and Kalika's hot album, but now it's time for something new. Good news, 2024 is your year because these artists are making their come-back and have produced enough material to make you scream on the highway at 8am until December 31st.

Saviors by Green Day

In October, the punk rock trio returned with the single "The American Dream Is Killing Me", the first track from their upcoming album, Saviors, which will be released on January 19th. In this album, the band reconnects with their punk roots and delivers their signature high-energy sound. The album promises to be a powerful and rebellious statement, showcasing Green Day's evolution and commitment to their music. So get ready to rock your socks off and let Green Day be your saviors in 2024!

Rob Cavallo is producing, following the legendary Dookie (1994) and American Idiot (2004). 30 years after the album that propelled Green Day into the charts, it goes without saying that we have high expectations.

A 3rd album for Dua Lipa

We don't know much yet about Dua Lipa's third album, the American pop icon whose journalist knows all the songs by heart, yet we follow her news closely. We also know that "Houdini", her latest single, was made with Kevin Parker from Tame Impala.a, has made a remarkable comeback, just like everything she produces. The songs from her latest album, Future Nostalgia, are all so catchy: we don't know when you'll update us, Dua, but do it quickly!

"LG7" by Lady Gaga

New album, recording a single or a new soundtrack? We don't know what to think about Lady Gaga's latest Instagram posts, they are particularly enigmatic, a bit frustrating but totally exciting. Nicknamed "LG7" by her fans, Gaga's upcoming project is highly anticipated. We really hope that Mother Monster is in the studio and is preparing something that will play with our emotions. The one we thought was too busy with the seventh art might not be done with solo projects after all... We'll keep you posted!

Pourvu qu'il pleuve by Shay

She combines candor, beauty, and style; her voice has changed and her place in the rap scene, which can be ruthless towards women, is well-established... Belgian rapper Shay is back with a new album in just four short days. Her latest work, Pourvu qu'il pleuve, will hit the charts on January 19th. A 7th album for Ariana Grande

Well, maybe it's not an album, but this single could announce something much bigger. Ariana Grande has been avoiding solo tracks for the past four years, but it seems like that's finally a thing of the past, as she confirmed on December 27th with an Instagram post of a few words, " See you next year ", but we didn't need any more than that. Plus, her new EP, titled Yes, and ?, was released this Friday, January 12th. This article comes at the perfect time, I hope you'll at least take the opportunity to discover this upcoming classic before everyone else...
