The incredible Parisian museum is hosting "The Night of the Crazies," a special event to wrap up its exhibition "Figures of the Crazy." Madame Arthur, Zaho de Sagazan, (La)Horde…
Thought of as a truly artistic carnival, visitors will be able to enjoy, from 6:30 PM to 11 PM, a DJ set hosted by the FIP radio crew, a special edition of the legendary Madame Arthur cabaret, the parade of the Bal Macabre accompanied by a live electronic performance, as well as an enchanting 2-hour performance by the dancers of the National Ballet of Marseille led by the collective (La)Horde amidst the museum's sculptures. If, by chance, you hear a buzz of voices singing in unison La Symphonie des Éclairs under the Pyramid, you are in the right place: for this occasion, the artist Zaho de Sagazan will enchant the dreamy souls with a musical performance that only she can deliver.
At the same time, a lot of exciting activities are waiting for you: a drag bingo, an immersive workshop with the collective Mille au Carré to explore their world where graphic design, sound, electronics, and object design come together, as well as the creation of eccentric masks. There will also be conferences and guided tours to rediscover the exhibition Figures du Fou. From the Middle Ages to the Romantics from a fresh perspective; and we definitely won’t want to miss the quirky and offbeat conference by Thomas Schlesser, the author of the bestseller Les yeux de Mona with a talk titled Portrait of the Louvre in ten stories of madness.
