We left it sleepy, and now it’s more vibrant than ever! In 2024, this legendary barge, located right at the foot of the François Mitterrand Library, made a big comeback after six years of renovations. With a fresh spirit and a sharp artistic direction, the Batofar is no more, replaced by its homophone Bateau Phare, a hybrid spot where music, culture, and parties meet on the water, much to the delight of night owls.

This summer of 2025, there's no talk of lifting anchor. The crew is setting sail for a sunny season, where each evening feels like a mini festival. The promise? A lineup that rocks, stunning unforgettable sunsets, and an open-air music scene

Sound, Show, Rock

On the lineup side, the Bateau Phare hasn’t left anything to chance. You'll encounter emerging artists electrifying the indie scene, trendy Parisian collectives, and even some more mainstream headliners. With a mix of electro, jazz, rock, and world music, the program is designed for both the curious and the regulars.

Among the highlights for May, we have the show by Josué, a rising star in the French rap scene, performing on May 14 as part of the Tunecore Showcase #3 alongside other talents from the indie scene. The next day, soul lovers can groove to the beat of the Tina Turner Tribute, an evening honoring the queen of rock’n’roll. Let’s talk about rock : it will be celebrated during the All Night Rock evenings scheduled for May 16, 23, and 30, promising a night full of energy and excitement.its frenzied at the sound of the great classics of the genre. Don't miss, also: the raw and metallic energy of the System Of A Down Tribute on May 22, as well as the The Soul & Motown Experience evening on the 31st of the month, which will bring back the legends of soul and Motown for a night full of nostalgia.

A Cultural Lighthouse

But the Bateau Phare doesn't just make the Parisian night owls dance : the venue fully embraces live music, featuring outdoor concerts on the deck at sunset, while also transforming into a chill temple during the day. There, you can enjoy themed happy hours, floating brunches, outdoor movie screenings, traveling thrift shops, artistic residencies, and creator markets, all in a friendly atmosphere. You got it : everything is set to make the Bateau Phare a staple on your list of hangouts, from June to September.
