Why, you ask? The museum is currently hosting the exhibition Stephen Jones, Hats of the Artist, dedicated to the creations of the famous British milliner, Stephen Jones. An exhibition about hats, to be discovered while wearing a hat
The gathering starts at 6 PM. Dressed in your most beautiful hat, you'll get to stroll through the museum's corridors, uncovering this fabulous exhibition and learning about an artist who is particularly well-known behind the scenes, though a bit less so in the spotlight. Yet, he is the one who has adorned the heads of the biggest stars and collaborated with the most renowned designers and fashion houses: Dior, Jean Paul Gaultier, Louis Vuitton, Thierry Mugler, Schiaparelli, and many more. For instance, he created the hat for Lady Gaga during her performance at the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games on July 26th. More than just simple hats, headpieces become true masterpieces under the hands of Stephen Jones of véritables &oeli.

A contest held during the evening
To spice up this evening filled with fashion and hats, the Palais Galliera is organizing a contest for the three most beautiful headpieces.
