This is the biggest event ever organized at the Centre Pompidou. On Friday, October 24 and Saturday, October 25, 2025, the contemporary art temple is taking a bow after five years of renovation work, with a XXL farewell party. What's on the agenda? Two days and two nights of exclusive showcases, immersive experiences, artistic creations, and unique meetings, all across the eight levels of the Centre Pompidou.
An Unprecedented Festival for the Farewell of the Centre Pompidou
Just before its closure – and the launch of a (very) rich off-site program, the Centre Pompidou invites the independent label Because Music for the largest event the venue has ever seen. The label, which is also celebrating its 20th anniversary, is treating us to two days of music and unusual experiences, making sure we say goodbye in style. To accomplish this, several artists and other Parisian institutions are invited to take control of some of the center's rooms.

To kick things off, head to the top level to dive back into the iconic world of a legendary Parisian nightlife spot, La Main Jaune, which is hosting a huge Roller Disco inspired by La Boum, complete with DJ sets from artists of Ed Banger and Because Music, before its reopening scheduled for 2026 in the 17th arrondissement. Then we’ll keep the fun going with three immersive experiences: the first one centered around the universe of the French duo Justice; the second retracing Shay’s journey through clips, performances, decor, and displayed objects; and finally, the third one celebrates the 5th anniversary of ALIAS, the magnificent EP by Shygirl, in a multisensory environment.
Two days of music, art, and celebration across eight floors
In addition to the immersive experiences, these Because Beaubourg days will offer the public about ten artistic installations created by different brands or labels, as well as screenings of unreleased (or rarely shown) documentaries.
masterclasses and all sorts of talks. If the two days will be freely accessible (subject to available spots), the evenings, on the other hand, will require you to get a ticket for €40 each, giving you access to all the rooms as well as the concerts and showcases planned. And when it comes to the lineup, one thing is for sure, it’s going to be amazing: Shygirl, Selah Sue, Sébastien Tellier, Romain Brau, Pedro Winter, Myd, Maureen, Keziah Jones, Christine and the Queens, Catherine Ringer, Breakbot & Irfane, The Limiñanas… In short, an incredible lineup that will make us forget all about the Centre Pompidou for the next five years to come !
