The Editor

If you thought that museums were dusty places where people whisper, put away your prejudices and grab your highlighters. To celebrate the Month of Pride and to wrap up the fabulous exhibition Unicorns!, the National Museum of the Middle Ages invites you to a totally unique party from 7 PM to midnight, exclusively for those over 18 years old.

A line-up of glitter, mixes, and history

Forget the naive unicorn from coloring books, here we celebrate the true pop and queer icon, all set in an amazing venue. For this first edition, the dazzling .drag queen Élysée Moon will take over the museum with her fabulous singing interventions and a wild quiz that only she can pull off. We recommend brushing up on your classics because her humor will be as sharp as our beloved animal's horn! But what would a ball be without a proper dancefloor? Absolutely nothing! So, to make those old stones vibrate, Corrine will drop her best DJ sets right in the heart of the medieval hotel’s grand courtyard.

And if you need a break between your groovy moves, the students from École du Louvre are waiting for you in the exhibition halls for some flash mediations. It’s the perfect moment to discover that the unicorn hasn’t always been this nice rainbow pony, but rather a creature much more mysterious and wild than it appears. A perfect cocktail of culture, fun!c;te and legends.

Dress code: sequins and fancy

The museum is clear: costumes are more than welcome. This is the time to whip out your finest bow ties, your most extravagant outfits, and slather yourself in glitter. We want colors, shine, and boldness!

Celebrate love and diversity under the watchful gaze of the famous Lady with the Unicorn.

A nostalgic journey with a twist at one of the most beautiful spots in Paris... What more could you ask for?
