Every year, the month of September marks a climax in the world of literature. Established authors and young talents present us with fascinating new pages, offering both exotic moments and intense emotions. And this year, to properly celebrate this literary gathering, the store Cultura invites you to come meet 7 writers and discover their new novels, for a unique evening of sharing, but be careful, it’s by reservation only!
Promising new novels
In the first part of the evening, you’ll have the opportunity to spend some time with the 4 finalist authors of the Talent Cultura Prize. Renaud de Chaumaray (Leaving the Valley, Gallimard), Séverine Cressan (Nurturers, Dalva), Ramsès Kefi (Four Days Without My Mother, Philippe Rey), and Mathilda di Matteo (The Good Mother, L'Iconoclaste) will be there!
e;resents for you to introduce their respective novels.You will also have the chance to learn more about them through a interview segment that dives a bit deeper into the heart of their works. The grand winner of the Prize will be announced on October 16th, following a public vote that will close on the 9th. The Woman in the Spotlight
The second part of the evening, fully hosted by literary journalist Philippe Chauveau, will celebrate three acclaimed writers and their new novels: Franck Bouysse with Between All, published by Albin Michel, Marie Charrel with We Are Made of Storm (Les Léonides), and finally Gaëlle Nohant with The Man Under the Storm, published by L'Iconoclaste. From Corrèze to Albania, and through the trials of World War I, each of them offers us heartfelt and emotionally resonant portraits of women. And for those who wish, the evening will continue over a drink and a signing session, perfect for filling up on lovely words!
