Thought the Palace of Versailles had finished surprising you? Think again! While it welcomes you throughout the summer to discover its famous Nocturnal Fountains, the palace invites you this Saturday, August 15, 2026 for a special evening. Look up to the sky—it will be the night of 1,000 drones.

A stroll to the rhythm of baroque music

It all starts like the traditional Grandes Eaux Nocturnes, which means taking a walk through the gardens and groves of the château. At the fountains, baroque music classics will be performed, from Lully to Rameau, passing through Handel and Gluck. The fountains will offer you a wonderful spectacle of lights and dancing water jets.

1,000 drones dancing with the stars

And the cherry on top? An absolutely breathtaking show featuring 1,000 drones that will light up the night sky alongside the stars, accompanied by stunning lasers and grand visual effects that'll create an unforgettable ballet choreographed to the rhythm of the music.

Great news : the Grandes Eaux Nocturnes continue until September 19, 2026, giving you plenty of time to enjoy this royal fairytale before autumn arrives ! Plus, August 29 will be dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the first Harry Potter film with various activities including a group spell-casting class led by Paul Harris, the choreographer of wand duels in several films, and many more surprises. Don't wait too long to book your spot !
