Get your roller skates out! Césure, the new space located at the former site of Sorbonne Nouvelle, is ready to delight us during these beautiful summer days. This 25,000 m2 area, set up for the next two years before the construction work begins, brings together a festive, community-driven and gastronomic space with a canteen, endless events, and structures installed in the old classrooms. And precisely on Wednesday, July 19th, the "Bal Glisse" (Disco Roller Party) will take place, replacing the old library. We'll meet at 7:30pm for a roller dance initiation supervised by Najete Kada, a true pro.Glisse, a 10-time champion in France, is accompanied by coach Laurence Sabas. At 8:30 pm, it's time for the "Bal Glisse" and a DJ set that you can enjoy for free to dance on a 1000 m2 dance floor, with the music of Eva Peel from the Deviant Disco collective. To join the party, it's easy: bring your own skates or rent a pair on-site. And because all that skating will make you hungry, there will be food at the hot dog stand and drinks at the bar run by Yes We Camp.
