Feathers, sequins, a festive atmosphere, and samba tunes echoing… No, this isn’t a trip to the Rio Carnival we’re talking about, but rather the most Brazilian of Parisian experiences. On Saturday, July 5, 2025, the nave of the Grand Palais will host the Grand Bal Rio-Paris, and let’s just say that the event promises to be absolutely spectacular!

Transforming the space under the glass roof into a "« Grand Summer Palace » is the exciting goal of Didier Fusillier, who has been at the helm of the Paris institution since September 2023. While the Grand Palais has undergone numerous renovation works in recent months and is gradually reopening to visitors, the director envisions that once summer arrives, the monument will be "« a central spot for summer fun », he explained during a press conference on December 9th. Thus, in the heart of the nave, there will be "« shows, balls, and parties ». Sounds exciting, doesn’t it?
