Dancing to support research? That's the beautiful promise of the Gala Hope, organized at the Casino de Paris in early February. An exceptional evening to celebrate this delicate and enchanting sport, and to fight against neuromuscular diseases. Followed by a cocktail dinner prepared by two great chefs of French gastronomy, the event will delight your senses one by one: visual, olfactory, and then gustatory.

Jérôme Commandeur at the presentation

The first edition of the event, in 2021, was a great success. A teaser made by Cédric Klapisch, a poster used by the artist JR, the comedian Jérôme Commandeur as the presenter... All these amazing people won over the audience, who donated up to 70,000€ for research. For this second edition, the Myology Institute, fully dedicated to muscle research, education, evaluation, diagnosis, and care, intends to make an impression once again. And once again, it is none other than Jérôme Commandeur (Irréductible, Le Flambeau) who will host the evening.

Eclectic Programming, between Contemporary and Classical

« We use our bodies to communicate, to travel, to dream. And what if, for one evening, we could come together to offer this to children, their families, and those in search?» This is the ambition of the artists and organizers, including Laura Arend, a star of the Paris Opera. She is coordinating the event alongside her friend Charlotte Ranson, also a dancer, whose three children are affected by Duchenne muscular dystrophy.

The programming, very eclectic, is designed to attract dance enthusiasts and inquisitive epicureans. Solos by Jeanne Balibar, Marie-Agnès Gillot and Johanna Faye, excerpt from the play Léon by Laura Arend with the dancers of L.A.C Company, presence of the dancers from the LES AUTRES collective… A lot of classics, but also contemporary, with a world premiere by Mourad Merzouki

Amuse-bouches signed by Pierre Sang and Pierre Hermé

After the excitement caused by the wanderings of beings, it will be your taste buds' turn to be shaken in every way during the cocktail party imagined by chefs Pierre Sang and Pierre Hermé. Solidarity, art, and delights of gastronomy: the three ingredients for an unquestionably exceptional evening are undoubtedly brought together!
