The Editor

Staying true to its roots, the Canal Barboteur invites collectives it has collaborated with from the very beginning, iconic artists from its history, and some fresh faces to introduce us to new sounds. Put on your shoes, grab a light sweater, and most importantly, get ready, it all kicks off this Saturday!

A Colorful Festival

For 10 years, the Canal Barboteur has transformed the banks of the Seine in Pantin into a cultural and warm place, and that certainly deserves a wonderful celebration. On the agenda for the Yellow Sun Festival: must-see DJs like Soulist and Celine Sundae, emerging collectives like Club Pizza and El Hey, plus live performances including Abdul and the Gang.

To the sounds of house, disco, and groove sets, you can enjoy the family-friendly atmosphere of the barge, as well as the delicious and responsible cuisine from Dock B. Mention sp&eac.specialty for pizzas, made with high-quality ingredients that pair perfectly with their wines.

But… what exactly are we celebrating?

The Canal Barboteur is THE place to be for dancing on the Seine. Imagined by two friends, the iconic yellow barge in Pantin is primarily a traveling venue that celebrates Parisian culture. As it sails along its routes, it...re Paris, Pantin, and Bobigny, it keeps reinventing itself with new concerts, shows, games, and participatory workshops, all while never losing its values of inclusion and diversity.

After 10 years, the goal has never changed: to get Parisians dancing. That’s why access is completely free and open. No endless lines, no bouncers to convince, and no festive outfits required. Forget about formalities and the pressure to party; what we want is to have fun simply, freely, and without worries.
