The birth of Daft Punk at the Centre Pompidou
The Centre Pompidou is the place that changed Daft Punk's career. On the night of November 10, 1992, the museum terrace transformed into an immense dance floor, for the "Armistice" house party. Mixing all of Paris' nocturnal clubbers, among them were Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo. At only 18 years old, the two pals discovered this music genre that would change their lives and ignite a vocation. The rest, as they say, is history...
