This Monday, September 14, the Saint-Michel station closed on line 4, for no less than 3 months, until December 19. A tough blow for all Parisians who already have to deal with the closure of République station for the next 8 years. And unfortunately, the week isn't going to get any better, with a double whammy on top of it this Sunday, affecting passengers on both line 13 and line 6.
A habit we could've done without
Well, you're starting to know the drill, for what seems like the 123,783rd time since the beginning of the year, line 13 will be closed this Sunday, September 20 from service opening until noon. No connections will be available, and if a
A replacement bus will be put in place, running only between Asnières–Gennevilliers–Les Courtilles and Porte de Clichy stations. This closure aims to modernize the line and prepare for the arrival of MF19 trains, as well as the upcoming automation of line 13. So heads up—the end of construction isn't coming anytime soon, and you can expect 6 more difficult Sundays before the end of the year.[#travaux #ligne13] ⚠️ Pour préparer l'arrivée des nouveaux trains #MF19, la #ligne13 sera fermée jusqu'à midi les dimanches 20 et 27 septembre, et le dimanche 11 octobre.

Cursed Sundays
And worst of all, things aren't about to get better, since a second Paris metro line has decided to make Sunday the perfect day to throw a wrench in our plans: line 6. Indeed, as part of modernization work, the trains on the mint-green line will be stopped for no fewer than 6 weekends through the end of the year. And that's exactly the case this Sunday, September 20th. Unlike line 13, however, the closures here will happen all day long, from one end of the line to the other. Here too, a replacement bus service will be available, between the stations Charles de Gaulle–Étoile and La Motte-Picquet–Grenelle. Hang in there!
