Paris is getting ready to see life through rose-colored glasses. Like every year since 2014, for the launch of the 32nd edition of Pink October, the Ruban Rose association will unveil a free show on the Champ de Mars, facing the Eiffel Tower, lit up in pink for the occasion, this Tuesday, September 30, 2025, starting at 8 PM.

The pink lighting will be visible from the Trocadéro and the Champ de Mars, until midnight, and the famous twinkling lights will be maintained for the first five minutes of each hour. Strongly supported by the City of Paris, this significant operation is an opportunity to highlight the efforts of doctors and researchers as well as those of all the individuals involved in the fight against breast cancer, leading up to a month of charitable events (information, pre;vention, early detection, etc.) organized across France to raise as much funds as possible.

A grand show featuring Carla Bruni

For music lovers, there's a musical show with the renowned singer Carla Bruni, hosted by journalist Isabelle Ithurburu. The event will also feature a performance by choreographer Sadeck Berrabah along with his dancers, and the presence of other artists like Joyce Jonathan. Several dozens of women affected by the disease, either undergoing treatment or in remission, will also parade “with pride and emotion,” says the association Ruban Rose.

As a reminder, one in eight women is affected by breast cancer. A year ago, singer Carla Bruni revealed in an Instagram post that she had been diagnosed with breast cancer in 2019.

Several other illuminated monuments

This year, several iconic places in the capital like the National Assembly, the Luxor Obelisk in Place de la Concorde, and the town hall of the 7th arrondissement will shine with the colors of Pink October, just like the Lady of F.

to proudly wear the colors of women's solidarity.

The Pink Ribbon Association promises a “evening full of emotion and light to celebrate hope, solidarity, and sharing.”
