The Ghibli amusement park in Japan is getting bigger and better with a brand new zone that will be dedicated to two of the studio's most legendary films.

These were the last ones missing from the list. Wednesday, February 27, the Ghibli Park, a theme park dedicated to the films of the eponymous studios located in Nagakute, Japan, revealed the upcoming opening of a new animation zone. Entitled "The Valley of the Witches", it will be dedicated to two iconic animations by Hayao Miyazaki. And that makes us want to book our tickets...

Howl's Moving Castle finds a place in the park

So it's the worlds of Kiki the Little Witch that are next...and the Moving Castle will offer a whole new experience to visitors of the park. If you happen to visit, be prepared to feel particularly small in front of the iconic Moving Castle of Howl and Calcifer, which will stand at about 20 meters high. The bakery Guchokipanya, where Kiki and her cat work, will also be there.

A fifth zone to complete the park

When can we enjoy it? Very soon! The opening of this new zone is scheduled from March 16th. At its opening on November 1, 2022, three zones were accessible to the public: the Hill of Youth, Dondoko Forest, and the Ghibli Warehouse.
