Had enough of the scorching sun and those constant 35°C temperatures? Good news, this week temperatures are going to drop dramatically — something that delights us as much as it terrifies us… Back-to-school season seems to be approaching fast. What we're less thrilled about, however, is the return of grey skies and rain, starting from the end of the week.

A cloudy and rainy week

The week starts off gently. The sun is, admittedly, less present, but the air is pleasant. The cloudier sky softens the temperatures, right up until Thursday, August 20th. That's when things get trickier according to Météo-France. From Friday, August 21st, rain makes its big comeback in the capital from morning till evening. And as if that weren't

enough, it's going to stick around throughout the weekend of August 22nd and 23rd, and maybe even into the following week…

Only 22°C during the day

The shock is likely to be strongest when it comes to temperatures. With heat waves repeating non-stop since May, we were almost getting used to a minimum of 30°C. Well, this

week, we'll lose more than ten degrees. While 27°C will be felt on Monday, August 17, and 28°C on Tuesday, August 18, starting Wednesday, August 19, temperatures will drop to reach 24°C. And that's just the beginning! On Friday, August 21, and throughout the weekend, only 22°C are expected during the day. As for the nights, they'll be much cooler, barely exceeding 15°C. Time to break out your light jackets and cardigans!
