What we really appreciate — or not — in Paris is that there is absolutely no transition: we go from rainy weather with 12°C to days when the sun burns the skin and 32°C makes us sweat profusely. And it looks like the heat is here to stay in the capital. On Monday, May 25, Météo-France placed 18 departments on yellow alert, which means a moderate heatwave alert, including Paris, Seine-Saint-Denis, Val-de-Marne, and Hauts-de-Seine. The west of France is also largely affected.
