The weekend really made us sweat, and two types of people clearly stood out: those who celebrate the heat because it promises a fabulous summer, and those who are desperate at the thought of having to endure 30°C every day for three months. Clearly, both opinions have been heard since in the coming days, we'll experience both heat waves and some cooler days. There will be sunshine, a bit of gray, and a few storms to sprinkle it all... Let’s take a look together at this week that promises to be varied!

Temperatures between 24 and 33°C all week long

This was the joy of Monday morning: opening the windows and letting in a bit of cooler air into our homes! After a heat peak of 35°C on Saturday, June 21, all we wished for was a little drop in temperature. Luckily, temperatures won't exceed 24°C on Monday, June 23, according to Météo France. However, they'll start rising again on Tuesday, June 24, with a forecast of 29°C, and a new heat peak on Wednesday, June 25, with 33°C expected during the day and 29°C in the evening. On Thursday, June 26, we'll only feel 25°C, which should calm us down a bit, before heading into a weekend that will heat up: 27°C on Friday, June 27, 29°C on Saturday.28 and 30°C on Sunday, June 29.

Between Sunny Skies and Storms

Temperature variations will naturally be accompanied by changes in weather. While this Monday, June 23, a slight grayness covers the capital, the next day, the sun will be fully back in action. Storms will also make an appearance!

On the day of the heat peak, Wednesday, June 25th, the afternoon will be marked by lightning, while rain is expected to shower Paris all evening. This rain will help cool things down, leading to sunny yet slightly cloudy weather on Thursday, June 26th. Starting Friday, June 27th, there’s nothing to report: the weekend will be sunny without a cloud in sight. This lovely weather sets the tone for the following week and the start of July!
