Well, let’s not kid ourselves, for the past few days, the temperatures have dropped drastically in the capital and surrounding areas. Good news though, this week from November 10 to 16 is looking quite mild. Because yes, we tend to forget it quickly, but even though the holiday season is officially underway, winter doesn’t actually start until December 21!

A week that's getting more and more pleasant

The advantage in life is that when you’re at the bottom, the only way is up. And it seems this saying also applies to the thermostat this week. Indeed, on this Monday, temperatures will not exceed 12°C, but don’t worry, it's actually the coldest day of the week. From tomorrow, we’ll reach 15°C in the afternoon, then 17°C on Wednesday, before soaring to the stars with a mercury hitting 20°C!

19 and 18° Thursday and Friday. Even the mornings are expected to be relatively mild for the season, with minimums between 7 and 12°. Moreover, some beautiful sunny spells should make an appearance at the beginning of the week, despite a few rainy episodes on Monday and Friday.

A Milder Weekend

Bad news though, this calm won't last, and starting next week, it's time to pull out the parkas, fleece jackets, and winter coats, as the thermometer is set to drop drastically: between 4 and 9°C expected from Monday to Wednesday. A free fall that will start this weekend, with highs of 15°C on Saturday and no more than 12°C on Sunday. So, a much more wintry weather, just a month away from the official start of the season, which doesn't exactly thrill us. The only glimmer of hope is if it allows us to catch a glimpse of some snowflakes before Christmas, then we're ready for the sacrifice.
