It's official: autumn has firmly settled into the capital, and it made that perfectly clear with a rainy Monday, September 28th. Let's just say that based on Météo France's forecast, we're in for quite an eclectic week. On the agenda: sunshine, rain, warmth, coolness… In short, a generous mix of every possible weather imaginable as we kick off early October 2026.

From rain to sunshine to rain to sunshine
Hold on tight, you're going to need to keep up. And figuring out what to wear in the morning... well, that's not going to be easy! It all starts with rain and grey skies on Monday, September 28th, but the next day, Tuesday, September 29th, it's glorious sunshine that will be in the forecast — perhaps with a few clouds sprinkled in. For the last day of the month, Wednesday, September 30th, Parisians will once again be treated to rain, heavy rain, from morning to evening.
Relief returns on Thursday, October 1st. Sunshine will make a lasting comeback for a few days, at least until Sunday, October 4th. Apart from a few showers, we're in for a rather pleasant start to autumn.

A sharp drop in temperatures
When it comes to temperatures… that's where autumn will really make itself felt. If the week kicks off on a pleasant 24°C, Tuesday, September 29th will give us a little summer tease with 27°C expected during the day. But the warmth will be short-lived: by Wednesday, September 30th, 24°C will be back. And after that? Well, it's freefall. From Friday, October 2nd to Sunday, October 4th, only 20°C will be felt during the day. In the morning, we'll get a shy 15 or 17°C. So it's time to invest in a little jacket because the following week… let's just say temperatures will drop even more.
