At the end of November, a polar cold and a little wave of snow settled over the capital, hinting at a dark and frosty winter. A few weeks later, nothing could be further from the truth! Indeed, to the delight of all the chilly folks in the capital, this week, we're putting away the parkas for mid-season jackets, with a notable rise in temperatures. A situation caused by a change in currents in the upper part of France is allowing Parisians to enjoy an extremely mild weather: temperatures reaching 15°C in the afternoon are expected on Monday, December 8 and Tuesday, December 9, and 14°C for Wednesday, December 10. And, to top it all off, even though the sky will remain gray and overcast, the heavy rain forecasted last week should finally leave us alone!
A warmth that should last
By the end of the week, even though the thermometer will indicate slightly lower temperatures, they should still remain well above the norm, hovering around 12°C from Thursday to Sunday. Even better,
This unexpected warm spell is expected to last in the capital until December 20th according to the initial estimates, possibly lingering into the beginning of next week. These forecasts, while making us happy so we don't freeze in place every time we go out, are not very promising for the planet. In any case, a white Christmas will likely not be happening in 2025 !Météo : 15 °C à Paris et à Nantes, 14 °C au Havre… Des températures de début de printemps à l’aube
