Indeed, the Paris weather just can’t stop messing with our nerves. After a week of cold, snow, and wind, in recent days, temperatures have shot back up, allowing the bravest among us to enjoy the terraces in the evening. But we’d like to warn you, don’t get too used to it, because it won’t last. In just a few days, the thermometer is expected to take a drastic drop again, possibly accompanied by a few snowflakes.

Indeed, for the past few weeks, the Nordic countries of Europe have been experiencing a record-breaking cold wave. It’s been -43°C in Finnish Lapland, -50°C in Stockholm, and even -60°C in Siberia. And while this reservoir of icy air is currently stuck over the upper part of the Old Continent, it’s expected to move southwest, heading toward France in the coming days, potentially affecting Ile-de-France during the shift.

Well, we want to put your minds at ease, even though Paris, is beautiful under the snow, for now, the likelihood of this scenario remains relatively low, and would require a number of factors. If the temperature is meant to drop a bit, it may be that this drop stays mild and manageable. Phew!
