Let's be honest, we were a bit resigned to summer being definitely over and temperatures not climbing above 77°F before 2027. Yet the weather seems to have decided to play a little trick on us this mid-September. Specifically, we're looking forward to a sunny and particularly warm start to the week, but it will contrast sharply with the days that follow, when autumn will settle in for good.

Up to 29°C this week

It all starts off lovely on Monday, September 14th with a morning at 22°C and an afternoon at 25°C, just what we need for a beautiful Indian summer. But it's on Tuesday, September 15th that things really get interesting. The morning will be sitting pretty at 24°C, while in the afternoon, temperatures will climb all the way up to 29°C, according to Météo-France

On the other hand, the second half of the week will be less fun! Starting Wednesday, September 16th, only 21°C will be felt during the day. The same goes through Friday, September 18th. As for the weekend, it will be slightly warmer, but only just: 22°C is expected on Saturday the 19th and 23°C on Sunday, September 20th.

Sunshine all week long

Weather-wise, Parisians are doing pretty well overall! Sunshine will be on the agenda all week long, accompanied by a few clouds here and there. Only Thursday, September 17th in the afternoon should be gray with rain expected even in the evening.

The weekend could be a little more cloudy, but the sun's rays will still manage to shine through.
