We almost didn't believe it anymore. With the recent rainy and chilly days we've had, we genuinely thought that autumn had definitively settled in the capital. We had already pulled out our cozy sweaters, the mid-season jacket, and a scarf to try to protect ourselves as much as possible from the nasty illnesses that usually come with those sudden temperature changes. But it seems like the weather has some surprises in store for us, particularly a notably mild week ahead. We can see sunshine and warmth… Let's take stock!

A sunny week ahead!

The keyword for this week is crescendo. On Monday, September 15, the sun will definitely be present in the Parisian sky, although it might be partly covered by a few clouds. The next day, Tuesday, September 16, we can expect a relatively gray day, but don’t forget about Wednesday, September 17, which promises to be absolutely radiant. The same goes for Thursday, September 18, and Friday, September 19, when the sun will be shining bright. We recommend making the most of it because come the weekend, it looks like... rainy! The return of summer will be short-lived.

Temperatures rising until Friday

On the temperature front, the...Surprises are in store! On Monday, September 15th, just like on Tuesday, September 16th, we can expect temperatures of between 19 and 20°C during the day. However, starting from Wednesday, September 17th, we’ll feel a rise in temperatures with 22°C during the day. On Thursday, September 18th, get ready to bust out your summer clothes with 25°C expected during the day and 21°C in the evening. Things are really going to get interesting on Friday, September 19th: Météo-France predicts up to 26°C in the afternoon and 20°C in the evening. The rainy weekend is forecasted to be cooler, with 21°C on Saturday, September 20th, and 17°C on Sunday, September 21st, which is a sure sign that autumn has arrived.
