We had been eagerly waiting for the heat. But after the heatwave à 37°C we experienced last week, we must admit that we were quite happy to see the temperatures drop a bit. And it seems like our wishes were heard because since this weekend, they haven't gone above 21°C, and even the rain has made its grand return. If the start of the week is looking relatively cool, don't panic; by the middle of the week, summer will indeed be back, bringing along its characteristic warmth.

A week filled with sunshine

Have you dusted off those jackets and umbrellas? Don’t worry, you'll be able to tuck them back away very soon. While Monday, July 7th is looking as gray and rainy as ever, starting Tuesday, July 8th, The sun is making a grand comeback, and it's here to stay for the whole week and even beyond, as indicated by Météo France. This is particularly delightful news for two reasons: school holidays have officially begun, and it’s so much nicer to have the whole family outdoors. And for those who aren't on vacation yet, a three-day weekend is just around the corner, which is always more enjoyable when the weather is nice.

Temperatures Rising Throughout the Week

When it comes to temperatures, there will be ups and downs, but thankfully we won’t reach the peak of 37°C. At the start of the week, highs will stay below 20°C during the day. By Wednesday, July 9, we’ll feel a little bump up to 24°C , and on Thursday, July 10, Friday, July 11, and Saturday, July 12, we might even hit 27°C. Get ready for a possible dip in the Seine on Sunday, July 13, with a lovely 30°C expected during the day and 26°C in the evening. Monday, July 14, will also be sunny and warm: expect 31°C on this national holiday and a day off for everyone!
