This weekend, the capital has broken all records. Football-wise, of course, but also weather-wise, since Saturday, Paris reached for the first time this year the 30°C mark. A suffocating heat that didn’t last long, because starting Sunday, the City of Light dropped no less than 8° on the thermometer. So, after such a yo-yo, what does this new week have in store for us?

A fairly mild start to the week

Well, this week is a bit tricky for everyone, since this weekend marked the last public holiday officially for at least a month and a half. At least for those who work on the Pentecost for the day of solidarity. As for others, we won’t talk about you for now.

A little blow to the spirits going back to the 5-day workweeks, but fortunately, it’s somewhat softened by a weather that’s pretty nice. Indeed, at the start of this week, the temperatures are expected to stay in line with the end of the weekend and might even rise to 24° tomorrow, all under a mostly sunny sky. Grab your sunglasses and t-shirts, but be careful, not for too long…

A summer that's definitely making us wait

Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end, and while the first days of the week will be pretty okay, starting Wednesday, things are going to take a turn. We’re looking at showers for 4 days, and high temperatures dipping below the 20° mark this weekend. This might actually be good news for anyone participating in the adidas 10K this Sunday, who will be thrilled not to run under a scorching heat. It seems like a somewhat gloomier weekend for everyone else. But luckily, don't get too used to the rain, as the lovely weather could return faster than expected, starting next week!
