Here we go, we finally got a taste of summer with temperatures soaring above 27 degrees and the sunshine shining bright. And let's be honest, it felt amazing and we wish it could last. Unfortunately, all good things come to an end, and we sadly have to say goodbye to our summer clothes that we specially brought out for the occasion, making way for sweaters and scarves starting next week. Luckily, even though it's getting cooler, the sun should still be shining

Significant temperature drop expected next week

On Friday, May 2nd, temperatures could reach up to 28 degrees in Paris. Unfortunately, starting the next day, Saturday, May 3rd, temperatures will drop, with 23 degrees projected for the afternoon, according to Météo-France. Sunday, May 4th, will hit us hard with a drop to 16 degrees, setting the tone for the following week. From Monday, May 6th to Wednesday, May 7th, temperatures will not exceed an average of 17 degrees in the afternoon. Starting Thursday, May 8th, a slight increase is expected again, with 19 degrees during the day, 20 degrees on Friday, May 9th, and 22 degrees on Saturday and Sunday, May 10th and 11th.

The sun and blue skies are here to stay despite the chill!

The good news is that even though a little chill will shake up our summer vibes next week, the sun won't let us down. From Monday, May 5th to Friday, May 9th, we can expect some clouds, but no drops of rain are on the horizon. The weekend of May 10th and 11th also promises to be quite nice. If you’re planning to stay in Paris during the long weekend of May 8th, you’ll be able to fully enjoy the great outdoors of the capital!
