We admit it, we're not quite sure where to turn our heads these days... One day it’s 35°C, the next day we’re under a red alert, and then the day after that, the temperatures drop dramatically with nearly twenty departments under an orange storm alert. While Paris is still under a yellow alert for now, Météo France warns that “ the orange storm alert could be extended to other departments during the day. The risk is not negligible across a large part of the territory. The predictability is low .”

Two days of storms expected in the capital

In the capital, starting this Thursday, July 16th, the weather is set to take a turn for the worse. Rain and thunderstorms are likely to hit in the afternoon and continue all through the evening. The forecast is the same for Friday, July 17th, in the afternoon. But don’t worry, by this weekend, things are expected to return to normal: the weather should be mild and sunny.

10°C colder tomorrow!

It’s on the temperature front that the drop will be quite dramatic. While we can still expect 32°C in the afternoon on July 16, with some showers, the evening will cool down to 27°C, and drop to 22°C at night. On Friday, July 17, only 26°C will be felt during the day. By Saturday, July 18, we can expect 28°C, and on Sunday, July 19, it will be 25°C . At the beginning of next week, temperatures shouldn't exceed 27°C, while the weather will remain pleasant. So, let’s celebrate: the heatwave will finally give us a few days of relief!
