Weather: a taste of spring in Paris this week!

We’ve seen it all. While February 2026 will have been marked by snow, a polar vortex, cold waves, and even a record amount of precipitation, it seems like it’s revealing a new side of its personality. But luckily, we’re ending on a high note, with a forecast that looks bright and cheerful.

We agree, winter in Paris is not easy every day. Especially since this year, it feels like it has been dragging on for centuries already. Thankfully, after weeks of freezing and spending most of our time under an umbrella, it seems that the wind has decided to shift, literally, to give us a little taste of spring. So, what can we expect exactly next week? We’re here to give you all the details.


A Meteorological Comeback

A few days ago, we learned with a hint of despair that France is breaking a record this week for consecutive rainy days, with no less than 36 on the count. A rather unfortunate news that depressed us even more than the weather itself. But apparently, after almost drowning us these past weeks, the rain has decided to take a break.

Especially since, hold on to your hats, the weather for next week looks to be simply exceptional for a February! Indeed, while Monday we’ll still have a slightly gray sky with temperatures around 10°, by Tuesday, the sun will be out, and the thermometer should reach 16°, and even 18° by Wednesday! Spring-like conditions that remind us that March is just around the corner.


A Glimmer of Hope

As our spirits were at an all-time low, this sunny break comes just in time to give us just the right amount of energy and vitamins to hold on until spring. Because yes, unfortunately, if next week promises.

This radiant weather shouldn't last too long. By the end of the week, temperatures should drop back to more acceptable averages for the season, and the sunshine is expected to disappear again, possibly making way for a little rain next weekend. Well, we prefer not to think about that too much for now, and in the meantime, let's get our t-shirts and sunscreen ready to soak up every ray on Tuesday and Wednesday!
