We've seen it all. While February 2026 will be marked by snow, a polar vortex, cold waves, and even a record amount of precipitation, it seems to be revealing a new side of its personality. But fortunately, we’re finishing on a high note, with weather that promises to be radiant.

We agree, winter in Paris is not easy every day. Especially since this year, it seems to have been dragging on for centuries already. Luckily, after weeks of freezing and spending most of our time under an umbrella, it looks like the wind has decided to shift, quite literally, to give us a little taste of spring. So, what can we expect exactly next week? We’ll tell you everything.


A weather comeback

A few days ago, we learned with a hint of despair that France is breaking its record for consecutive rainy days this week, with no fewer than 36 days on the scoreboard. A rather sad piece of news that depressed us even more than the weather itself. But apparently, after almost drowning us in recent weeks, the rain has decided to take a break.

Especially since, hold on tight, the weather for next week is shaping up to be simply exceptional for a February! Indeed, while Monday might still be under a slightly gray sky, with temperatures around 10°, starting Tuesday, the sun will make an appearance, and the thermometer should reach 16°, and even 18° by Wednesday! Just spring-like conditions are on the way, reminding us that March is just around the corner.


A Glimmer of Hope

As our spirits were at their lowest, this sunny break comes at just the right time, giving us just the right amount of energy and vitamins to hold on until spring. Because yes, unfortunately, if next week is looking up,...

this radiant, it shouldn't last long. By the end of the week, the temperatures should drop back to more acceptable averages for the season, and the sun is expected to disappear again, perhaps making way for a bit of rain next weekend. Well, let’s not think about that too much for now, and in the meantime, we're getting the t-shirts and sunscreen ready to make the most of every ray on Tuesday and Wednesday!
