Going on vacation is just fantastic! But it does require a bit of organization, especially when it comes to choosing the restaurants where we’ll indulge our taste buds, the must-visit museums, and the hotels to stay at. Luckily, there are some folks out there dedicated to making our lives easier, like the experts from La Liste, who have just ranked an impressive 1000 addresses around the world. Ten of them stand out with a remarkable average score of 99.5 out of 100. And here’s the good news: two of them are right in the heart of the capital!

Excellence with a French Touch

To create this ranking, La Liste has shown its usual rigor, consulting no less than 400 online reviews for each.Which establishment. Reviews range from that of a professional inspector to an Instagram influencer, not forgetting Mr. and Mrs. Everyone on vacation. And the result is crystal clear: the French capital has nothing to prove to anyone, since among the 10 addresses taking the top spots on the podium, two are located in Paris!

According to this study with unquestionable objectivity, carried out by an algorithm scoring out of 100, two French establishments – even better, from Paris – have managed to enchant everyone who walked through their doors. They are La Réserve in the 8th district (already ranked last year), and Meurice, a true institution overlooking the Jardin des Tuileries. Two exceptional addresses that showcase all the French know-how, blending history, cultural richness, elegance, and high-end services.

The Capital at the Top

If we warmly congratulate the entire teams who work tirelessly each day to ensure the excellence of these two Parisian establishments, we also acknowledge the 8 other addresses located in every corner of the globe that have also...failed to reach the score of 99.5. You can find the Badrutt's Palace Hotel (Switzerland), Il San Pietro di Positano (Italy), Las Ventanas al Paraiso (Mexico), the Mandarin Oriental Bangkok (Thailand), the One&Only Portonovi (Montenegro), the Rosewood Mayakoba (Mexico), The Peninsula Chicago (United States) and The Peninsula Shanghai (China).

France as a whole truly holds its own, with 100 addresses in total in this top 1000, and especially 7 additional Parisian spots just on the second step of the podium: the Ritz, the George V, the Plaza Athénée, the Bristol, the Saint James, the Cheval Blanc (which drops one place compared to last year), and finally the Crillon. There you go, that should give you some great spots to consider for your next vacation. Even if, as you can guess, this excellence comes with a certain cost…
