Indeed, all roads lead to Orly! A few months after the extension of line 14, and with the airport already served by tram line 7 and bus 5154, a brand new line might join the list and provide a new way to catch flights at an affordable price. Line 9, which already takes you to Orly (the town), might soon go even further.


A must-have that's becoming even more essential

These are repeated requests made by users of the line during the celebration for the 4th anniversary of T9's launch. Indeed, while many are praising the line’s efficiency and punctuality, they equally regret that it doesn’t take them to the airport terminal.

And this isn't new, since, right from the creation of the line in 2021, the Orly town hall had launched a petition to extend it. For now, getting to the airport from the cities served by the T9 requires a few transfers, and sometimes additional costs, since a direct access with the tram would allow for a €2 ride, compared to over 10 with the 14 for users who don't have a Navigo Pass.


An ambitious project

In the next 5 years, commissions are expected to be set up, as reported by Parisien. This first phase will help evaluate the possibilities and costs. Now we just have to wait, but we promise, we'll keep you updated by 2030 at the latest!
