Were you waiting for it? Here it is! 22 days after it started on July 4th, the Tour de France is set to finish in the capital on Sunday, July 26th. But before crossing the finish line located on the Champs-Elysées, the riders will make a little stop in another emblematic neighborhood of the capital, which is sure to challenge them one last time.

130 kilometers to cover
The starting point of this final stage of the race will be in Thoiry, in the Yvelines region. The runners will then make their way to the capital, including the famous Montmartre Hill and its must-visit street, Rue Lepic, where they had the chance to pass last year, as part of the route inspired by the events of the Olympic Games.

The streets Lepic, Novins, Mont-Cenis, Saint-Eleuthère, Cardinal Dubois, Lamarck, and Caulaincourt will see the passage of cyclists. They will make three laps in this neighborhood, with a kilometer of climbing at 6.5%, before heading to the Champs-Elysées. « The finish line will be about 15 km from Sacré-Cœur, giving sprinters a chance », said Christian Prudhomme, director of the Tour de France. In total, they will cover 130 kilometers.

Informative, the runners are expected to pass at 5:52 PM at the Eiffel Tower, 5:58 PM at the Louvre Palace, 6:02 PM for the first pass on the Champs-Elysées, 6:45 PM for the first pass on Montmartre Hill, and the final arrival is scheduled between 7:30 PM and 7:50 PM.
