The Editor

Picture a place where meat takes center stage and the secret sauce is a beloved legend. Welcome to Relais de l'Entrecôte, a timeless establishment that has been satisfying taste buds since 1959. Here you can savor "a crisp green salad with walnuts, followed by a succulent ribeye steak smothered in its famous secret sauce, served with delectable homemade matchstick potatoes." This original recipe was crafted by Paul Ginette de Saurs at Porte Maillot, known then as "le Relais de Venise-Son Entrecôte." A secret sauce like no other. The concept is straightforward yet incredibly effective. You enter, take your seat, and are asked a pivotal question by your server: "How would you like your steak cooked?" Once you provide your preference, the anticipation heightens as the first plate of perfectly grilled ribeye arrives, drenched in the enigmatic sauce boasting a whopping 25 ingredients, alongside crispy fries. And just when you think it's all over, the server returns with a second helping, turning your meal into a never-ending delight.

Vintage atmosphere

The ambiance is naturally just as delightful: the warm decor of woodwork, mirrors, and vintage posters is inspired by the old Parisian brasseries. Le Relais de l'Entrecôte has been so successful that it has also won over the palates of Londoners, New Yorkers, and even Tokyoites, consistently proving its quality.

The Relais' baguette

In 2021, the institution ventured into the world of street food, offering a revamped American sandwich. We can indulge in a baguette filled with fries, entrecôte steak, and the famous secret sauce at this new address in the 4th arrondissement, where we can order takeout, opt for delivery, or enjoy a good time on site.
