In just about ten days, on March 15, 2026, the first round of the municipal elections will take place in Paris and all across France. If you haven’t done it yet, now is the perfect time to learn about the candidates in your district and those running for the City Hall of Paris. And if you already know you’ll be absent during one or both rounds, there’s still time to request a proxy vote from your loved ones. For everyone else, the City of Paris has created an interactive map to help you find your polling station based on your address.

A tool to easily find your polling station

At the beginni .It's recommended to check the Public Service website to ensure that you are indeed registered on the electoral rolls. Once your registration is confirmed, head over to the digital tool simply called « Where to vote for the municipal elections ? ». Here, just enter your address, and your polling station will be displayed on the map with a red dot. Below, you will find its number and address specified. It's important to note that for these upcoming elections, 118 polling stations have changed their addresses. So, the place where you voted last time may not be the same anymore.

A different voting system

Just a reminder, with the 2025 law, the voting system has slightly evolved. Parisians will vote twice during the two rounds: once to elect the district councilors and again to elect the Paris councilors.

For district councils, the leading list receives 50% of the seats. The remaining seats are distributed among the other lists that received at least 5% of the votes in the second round. For the Paris council, the leading list gets 25% of the seats.
