The People is open from 7:00 in the morning with a croissant in hand until midnight on weekdays and 2:00 am on weekends for a jam session and a night to remember. And let's not forget the happy hour every day from 5:00 to 8:00 pm, which attracts both locals and backpackers eager to discover the real Paris. Throughout the year, The People offers a rich program of events with a dedicated stage: concerts, karaoke, jam sessions, open piano, DJ sets... A Croque-Monsieur Bar

Our favorite spot for a quick bite in Belleville has to be Gilles and his team's super gourmet croque-monsieurs. These tasty sandwiches have been given a global twist and every mouthful is a cheesy delight. One standout option is the Italian croque, filled with coppa, creme fraiche, parmesan, chives, olive tapenade, tomato basil, and a blend of mozzarella and emmental. Another highlight is The People, loaded with New York-style pastrami, onion confit, raisins, honey, red cheddar, and creme fraiche. Pair these delicious treats with a nice cold beer out on the summer terrace overlooking the bustling Fontaine au Roi pedestrian street. Inside, you'll find a cozy mix of vintage charm and industrial edge, with the walls adorned with a stunning mural by the artist Chiron Deal, perfectly capturing Belleville's playful vibe. On Sundays, the communal table beckons us for a grand brunch with all our friends.
