Hey there! The Olympics have wrapped up, but now it's time for the Paralympics to shine. In just two weeks, 4,400 athletes with physical disabilities will proudly represent France. And guess what? The Olympics may be over, but fear not Parisians! There's still a fantastic event for you to enjoy - the "most beautiful rematch". That's how Tony Estanguet described the Paralympic Games during the closing ceremony, highlighting the amazing competition. The organizing committee was initially bummed by the lack of interest in the Paralympics, but now they're overjoyed by the success of the first round of ticket sales. Over half of the tickets have already been sold, proving that there's plenty of excitement for this incredible event.


20,000 tickets sold per day

These Olympics are a record in terms of the number of tickets sold: despite sometimes exorbitant prices (for example, you had to spend €690 to attend the women's 400 meters final), approximately 9.5 million tickets have been purchased out of a total of 10 million available, significantly more than the 8.3 million tickets allocated to Atlanta in 1996.

This trend benefits the Olympics: if only one million tickets had been sold out of the 2.8 million available in the spring, now they are selling like hotcakes. ""We sell five times more tickets per day than before the Olympic Games"", said Tony Estanguet on Monday, August 12th on .Franceinter, with up to 20,000 units purchased daily. .


Special Affordable Prices

The tickets for the JP event are attracting more interest, and this is largely due to its budget-friendly prices: ticket prices range from €15 to €70 for most events. Over half of the tickets are priced at €25 or less, with 80% available for €50 or less. You can also purchase discovery passes on the website starting at €24, which allow you to attend up to three different events in a day. The family pass offers kids' tickets starting from €10 when purchased along with two adult tickets.


Some disciplines are already sold out

The tickets are selling extremely fast on a daily basis, say the organizers, so don't waste any time, especially since some disciplines are already sold out. This is the case for para-equestrianism, track paracycling, paratriathlon, shooting para sport, wheelchair fencing, parataekwondo and sitting volleyball. Whether on TV or live, the competition sites will remain the same: Grand Palais, Stade de France, Champ de Mars, Les Invalides, Roland-Garros, Palace of Versailles.

During the Olympics, France managed to break into the top 5 in the medals rankings.

With a series of victories already engraved in history, these paralympians are aiming to achieve a new goal: to reach the top 8 at the end of the 549 tests that will take place in a capital city full of excitement.
