Every year, there are events that come back around: birthdays, Christmas, Halloween… And then comes the announcement of the Pass Navigo price increase — to our great dismay. Île-de-France Mobilités has established its budget projections for the year 2027, with the possibility that the Pass Navigo price will go up once again on January 1st.
A potential price increase of 2.9%
It's the same old story since 2024. Not a single year goes by without the Pass Navigo being hit by price hikes, notably justified by funding network expansion projects, the introduction of newer, more modern trains, or security devices. Annual subscription breaks through the symbolic 1,000 € mark
The monthly subscription isn't the only one affected: the annual subscription could officially cross the 1,000 € threshold, reaching 1,027 €, compared to 998.80 € today.
The situation is similar for the metro-train-RER ticket: if this increase is rolled out across the board, the individual ticket will come to 2.62 €, versus 2.55 € at the moment.
Currently, these prices have not been confirmed by Île-de-France Mobilités. We'll have to wait for the final vote of the board of directors, which will take place in December 2026. IDFM insists that the increase ».
