After more than three months traveling the world and France, the Olympic flame is about to finish its journey. Lit on the 16th of April in Olympia, Greece, following Olympic tradition, the flame arrived in France in Marseille before crossing the country over the weeks. For this very special occasion and to close this first Olympic stage before heading to the heart of the Games, national and international stars will have the honor of being among the torchbearers of the Paris 2024 Olympics. The penultimate relay of the flame before it reaches the center of Paris will take place on Friday, July 26th in Seine-Saint-Denis, just a few hours before the opening ceremony on the Seine.

Snoop Dogg and MC Solaar among the expected personalities

Guess who's bringing the heat to Saint-Denis? It's none other than American rapper Snoop Dogg who will be one of the torchbearers for the Olympic flame. The flame will make its way through the Stade de France, the Olympic village, and the aquatics center. According to Le Parisien, discussions were held for actor Bradley Cooper to also participate as a torchbearer, but he declined. Other anticipated personalities include Ukrainian pole vaulter Serguei Bubka and rapper MC Solaar.
