A few months ago, Paris was voted the best European city for sports. And at the same time, when you see the number of runners in its streets, it's not really surprising. If you’re one of those hordes of joggers (good for you!), we have some fantastic news: you can put your training to good use for a great cause!

From March 10 to 22, 2026, Institut Curie is bringing together all of France to join in the fight against cancer, thanks to the 22nd edition of its national campaign One Daffodil Against Cancer. It’s a time for general mobilization, fueled by many solidarity and sports events, including a race like no other, which could allow you to kill two birds with one stone.


Every kilometer counts

We all know that exercising is important for physical and mental health. Many people enjoy regular jogs to relieve the day’s stress and stay in shape. And in just a few days, you’ll be able to put this practice to good use for a great cause: research against cancer. The principle is simple...Just sign up — for only 15€, but 1) it’s cheaper than any class in Paris and 2) from this amount, 10€ goes directly to the Curie Institute — then just don’t… change anything about your routine!

Indeed, for 12 days, once you register, all you need to do is open the free app dedicated to « Course Jonquille » to enter your performances. Each distance will then be automatically converted into a sum following the logic of 1 kilometer = 1 euro, which will then be donated to the Institut Curie by the patron of the event, Allianz. And as the saying goes, every little bit counts, whether you run 1 km, 6, 22, or 113, it will already be a most generous contribution to this vital cause.


A Global Mobilization

And if running isn't really your thing, don't worry! During the entire duration of the event, other activities will be organized to contribute to research, through the symbol of the campaign: the j.daffodils. For example, you can buy daffodils from one of the main partners of the event, Truffaut and Carrément Fleurs garden centers, or grab pins, pens, bags, and other goodies featuring the flower during charity sales to support them. All these products and plants will be available at the official village, which will take place, as every year, at the Place du Panthéon!
